Bob Morris, a consultant for Viragrow, will be teaching a
class on summer pruning next Saturday, May 17, from 9 am to 11am at the
UNLV's Center for Horticulture and Water Conservation outdoor classroom at 4600
Horse Drive. The class will be focused on fruit and landscape trees but can be
applied to any landscape plant. Can plants be pruned
during summer months? The short answer is "Yes." But the caveat is
you must do it correctly if you want results that don't damage the plant.
