It does not go bad. Just keep it dry. Use it whenever you are planting seed, vegetable transplants, fruit trees and landscape trees and shrubs. It should be mixed in the soil surrounding plant roots.
Phosphorus is essential to plants and aids in root establishment, flowering, fruiting, seeding and oil production of herbs.
Triple superphosphate has a very low salt index (10.1) which means it does not damage plants as easily as most other fertilizers.
Use 1/2 handful per vegetable and flower transplants and mix with the soil surrounding the roots.
Use a six ounce coffee cup of it in the backfill of 5 gallon nursery plants.
