Saturday Class on Salinity, Alkaline Water, Blogs and Worms

This Saturday, September 6 from 9 am to 11 am at Viragrow is the next class. We have to leave by noon.
  • Alkaline water
  • Salinity
  • Blog update
  • Worm update (vermicomposting)
Two things that were brought up for the next meeting was the "alkaline water" and salinity. Besides that I would like to go back and get caught up on the blog postings that were done and make sure we are connected and a worm update. If anyone wants some "starter worms" they can contact bobbymorris928@gmail.com and he will provide what he has.

On the topic of salinity, you can read all about it from many places but I thought I would show you how to measure pH and salinity with some very simple, handheld meters I use at Viragrow to monitor the composts. I will also explain how salinity measurements from various soils labs can be deceiving and how to keep from getting innocently fooled with these test results.
