Mulch Vegetables for Better Growth and Quality

Inexpensive horse bedding can serve as a great mulch for vegetables. See for yourself. Here you can see how very fine wood shavings in the form of horse bedding was used at Viragrow to mulch onions. Onions mulched had better growth in just a few weeks. Mulches help preserve moisture between waterings and keep the soils cooler. These horse bedding shavings can be turned in easily at the end of the growing season and they dccompose quickly, unlike straw which decomposes slowly and contains lots of weed seeds.
Use them in containers as mulch as well.
Clean & Cozy Horse Bedding in 3 cubic foot bags is on sale for the month of June at Viragrow. It makes great mulch and is great for the compost pile as well.
